Infotheek supports 3FM Serious Request
From 18 until 24 december 2011 3FM Serious Request will be held at the “Beestenmarkt” in the city Leiden. Serious Request is a yearly project by Dutch radio station 3FM in which they collect money for projects of the Red Cross. IT supplier Infotheek supports this project with several promos and is aiming for a minimum donation of €25.000,-. All promos for collecting money for Serious Request can be seen at
www.infotheek.nl/serious-request (in Dutch).
This year 3FM Serious Request creates awareness for mothers who are or have been affected by the consequences of war. From the “Glazen Huis” (house of glass) the Radio 3FM DJs Gerard Ekdom, Timur Perlin and Coen Swijnenberg will host a radio marathon show from the 18th until the 24th of december to collect money for the Red Cross.
From 23 november till 24 december 2011 Infotheek donates € 5,- for every sold Approved Selection system. This promo is valid on every Approved Selection PC, workstation, notebook, TFT-screen and thin client. Approved Selection is Infotheek’s quality mark concerning refurbished IT hardware.
Infotheek has also a buy-back promo for organizations with 250 or more workplaces. The used hardware which has to be replaced, can be very valuable for Serious Request. Infotheek buys back the hardware and the customer can decide to donate a part of the buy-back value or even the whole buy-back value. On top of this donation Infotheek will donate an extra € 1,- for every asset which have been bought back.
Chief Operations Officer Jordy Kool:
“From the moment we knew that the “Glazen Huis” would come to Leiden, we wanted to do something meaningful for Serious Request. The Approved Selection promo and the buy-back promo must lead to large donations in collaboration with our customers and other connections. Internally we will ask every employee if they would to donate for Serious Request. With each other we are striving to contribute a significant donation to Serious Request 2011.”
