Dirk WiersmaInfotheek has experienced a steady and high growth over the last three years. With earlier opened offices in Belgium, Germany, Spain and Sweden, and with other upcoming offices, one of the main challenges of Infotheek is to maintain the quality of support to customers and employees. As of January 2nd Dirk Wiersma has been appointed as Manager Sales Operations. His main task is to start a new Sales Operations department which combines the Back Office and Sales Support departments.

Wiersma came over to Infotheek from Lenovo International where he worked for four years. The last two years he was Sales Operations Director in the Shared Service Center at Lenovo in Bratislava, Slovakia. In that role he managed 15 teams with in total 119 full time employees. Previously he worked as Operations Manager Mid Market EMEA at Lenovo for two years. Before his time at Lenovo, Wiersma gained thirteen years experience in several management roles at HP and Compaq.

Manager Sales Operations Dirk Wiersma about his new challenge: “I am looking forward to apply my operational management experience in favor of the further growth of Infotheek. With offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany Spain and Sweden Infotheek has a local as well as a global feel. That does appeal to me. Furthermore I feel I can act as an entrepreneur, because I will work close to and with customers and every Sales department.”

Chief Operations Officer Jordy Kool: “The past three years we have experienced a significant growth in a responsible manner. We would like to maintain this growth, but with a focus on our quality level. The new Sales Operations department must lead to less operational tasks for our Sales departments, better quality of quotations and orders where necessary and increasing customer satisfaction. The great deal of experience Dirk has gained at Lenovo, HP and Compaq plays a key role.”
